A new show about  music video phenomenon has been produced for the Georgian cultural TV channel ARTAREA.TV

ELECTRONAUTS 2013

The history of “Electronauts” goes back to 2005, when well-known Georgian producer and anchor, Sergi Gvarjaladze, filmed 52 minute documentary on contemporary Georgian artists where he showcased the anomaly of how new generation of Georgian electronic artists emerged during the electricity crisis of 1990-ies. The film greatly resonated with local society and especially with growing list of digital artists.  The annual “Electronauts” awards was launched in 2007 that awarded Georgian artists in 9 different categories, for the content created during previous 12 months.

Six “Electronauts” awards have taken place since. Awards have stimulated many young artists to be more creative and productive: while there were only 15 participants for the first “Electronauts”, 2013 this figure has grown to 75. Every year new categories have been added and since 2010 awards has an international jury. “Electronauts” has been working closely with all major TV channels and has attracted over 20 different partners and sponsors. To expand the exposure of local artists and the impact of our activities to a wider public and beyond annual awards, the Foundation “Electronauts” was formed in 2011. The mission of the foundation is to cultivate the understanding and appreciation of modern forms of electronic arts while exploring its creative and cultural potential. The Foundation accomplishes this mission through programs and activities that engage local artists and cultural community, as well as the general public. The Foundation works year-round and in addition to annual awards, manages educational and media initiatives, conducts workshops, take part in festivals and collaborate with other organizations to achieve common goals.  

Electronauts 2013 - the 6th annual award ceremony for innovative pop culture was held December 21 in the Eventhall (Tbilisi, Georgia).

Imediatori

Imediatori is a late night variety show covering the pop culture, lifestyle, new technologies and popular science. The program includes short features, music live performances, music videos and interviews with celebrities and experts.

The show is written produced and hosted by Sergi Gvarjaladze.

Some segments are presented by journalist working on the show.

The show is also presented on the Facebook, where the viewers can interact with the show team and can find more information on subjects covered in the program.

At the end of every show a short interview before a late night documentary is conducted.

Select2 (Selector) - a new web exclusive show

Select2 (Selector) - a new web exclusive show is being produced for artarea.ge.
The magazine is presented by Nino Daraseli and Sergi Gvarjaladze and covers popculture, lifestyle and art.
Due to be broadcast mid April.

TV version of the award for Georgian innovative pop culture "Electronauts" has been broadcast on Channel One of Georgian Public Broadcasting.

Electronauts / news alert

 

 

Georgian internet radio portal Internetradio.ge and Electronauts (Annual Awards for Georgian Popculture) had reached an agreement on collaboration deal to promote this year’s award ceremony. A separate radio channel for all the nominated tracks has been set on the portal.

The online voting by the general public and by the international jury has already started. Live appearances of more then 10 bands are scheduled this year, the final list will be announced on 9th of May. The major prize (Electronaut 2010) has been created by the well known Georgian artist Mamuka Jafaridze.

This year's event will be held mid May, at the National Music Center and will be organized by the Electronauts Foundation, Komunamedia, Stromboli and Georgian Events.

The final TV version will be broadcast on Channel One of Georgian TV, TV PIK and Musicbox at the end of May.

 

KOMUNAMEDIA produces for PIK.TV

 

 

Komunamedia-Georgian media production company has signed a production deal with a new Russian language satellite TV channel – PIK.
The company will produce for the channel a weekly magazine about pop culture and lifestyle in the region.
POPMOPED consists of stories about the latest cultural events, interviews with representatives of the entertainment industry, music videos, as well as regular columns (charts, calendar).

 

 

The debutants - Nicole Shaduri and Sergey Voronin will host the program.
The project is developed and produced by well known Georgian media producer Sergi Gvarjaladze.

The first broadcast is scheduled for 19th March.

 

ПОПМОПЕД

С 19 марта, каждую субботу, в 20:00 по тбилисскому времени на канале ПИК, а также в онлайн-режиме (PIK.TV), выйдет новый телевизионный проект – еженедельный тележурнал о поп-культуре и стиле жизни – Попмопед.

Программа состоит из сюжетов о самых новых культурных проектах, интервью с представителями шоу-индустрии, музыкальных видео-клипов, а также регулярных рубрик (хит-парад, календарь). В конце каждой передачи зрителям даётся возможность выйграть оригинальный приз.

Проект спродюсирован «Коммунамедией», в качестве ведущих предстанут молодые дебютанты – Николь Щадури и Серги Воронин.

Автор и продюсер проекта - Серги Гварджаладзе.

DANCING WITH GEORGIA on POLONIA TV
